We’re Excited to Welcome Dr. Stafford to NKVH!

Dr. Elizabeth Stafford is a 2006 graduate of The Ohio State University. She has practiced in central Ohio for 12 years at several clinics with a variety of clientele in various communities. She has loved animals since she was a young girl. As a child she had a horse, turtles, frogs, snakes, a parakeet, cats and a dog. Her passions in veterinary medicine are surgery, dentistry, internal medicine, cardiology and holistic medicine. She is trained in veterinary acupuncture through the Chi Institute in Reddick, FL and is pursuing the use of herbs as an adjunct therapy to traditional medicine.

Her husband Matt is in sales and they have two children; Ella, who is nine, and Tucker, who is six. Their four-footed family members are Watch, a four-year-old German Shorthair Pointer and Goose, a sixteen- year-old grey domestic shorthair. Dr. Stafford and her husband Matt both grew up in Upper Arlington and have large families with many siblings, cousins, nieces and nephews. Dr. Stafford’s family has a home on a lake in Northern Michigan, which is her favorite place to be. She loves spending time with her family, being outdoorsy whenever possible: hiking, biking, boating and fishing. She loves to read, write, do yoga and garden. She is working on improving her culinary skills.

She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the Ohio Veterinary Medical Association and the American Association of Feline Practitioners.
