Practice Owner, Veterinarian
Dr. Diane Ott adored all sorts of animals from an early age—it wasn’t long before she had read all of the animal books available in her local library. By the time she had convinced her parents to add a rabbit to the family, her mind was made up: Dr. Ott would become a veterinary professional!
Dr. Ott is originally from northern New Jersey and spent her undergraduate years in Pennsylvania. Next, she relocated to Ohio to earn her veterinary degree, graduating as a licensed veterinarian in 2004 and launching her professional career.
When the opportunity arose for Dr. Ott to purchase half of North Kenny Veterinary Hospital, she jumped at her chance—she became a co-owner in 2010 and has been caring for the pets of Columbus here ever since. She has particular interests in geriatric care and physical therapy work, and makes it her mission every day to give each and every pet that she sees the same level of care she would want for her own animal companions.
Aside from her passions within veterinary medicine, Dr. Ott likes reading, gardening, camping, and spending time with her family and pets. Along with her husband, Steve, and their two children, Ethan and Emma, Dr. Ott shares her home with several four-legged friends: Meryl, an English Cocker Spaniel, is a retired champion show dog; Levi, the English Cocker Spaniel, enjoys howling along in accompaniment when Dr. Ott’s children play musical instruments; and Truman, a Doberman Pinscher, is the goofball of the bunch. The family also has four loveable cats: Yoshi, Garfield, Mrs. Whiskers, and Iris.
