Practice Owner, Veterinarian
For Dr. Bill Goode, the veterinary profession allows him the opportunity to share his love of science while looking after the beloved companions of pet owners just like himself. Making a positive impact on the lives of families is the ultimate reward! Dr. Goode has been helping the pets and animal parents of the Columbus area here at North Kenny Veterinary Hospital for nearly 30 years.
Dr. Goode grew up in Cleveland, Ohio, and was only a junior in high school when he first started cleaning kennels and assisting with clients at his local veterinary practice. After high school, he moved to Columbus to study pre-veterinary science and ultimately attend veterinary school at Ohio State University. He remained in Columbus after college and began his professional career at a nearby animal clinic. It wasn’t long before Dr. Goode was recruited to join the North Kenny Veterinary Hospital team—he jumped at the chance, and the rest is history!
The most enjoyable part of Dr. Goode’s job is diagnosing and treating patients that can’t speak for themselves. For him, exploring new diagnostic and treatment methods while keeping up on the latest advancements in veterinary medicine is one of the most exciting and important parts of his work.
Away from the clinic, Dr. Goode enjoys hiking and camping in the great outdoors. He’s also an avid traveler and loves to explore different cultures around the world. He and his partner of 26 years share their lives with three felines, all grey cats whose antics keep Dr. Goode laughing on a daily basis.
